A big mahalo to Taylorisms for generously sharing some local-style ono treats and other goodies with Hale Kipa!
Taylorisms donated 48 containers of pickled fruit, featuring Li Hing, Lemon Peel, Lychee, Hawaiian Punch, and Pineapple flavors. Suspended in flavorful juices, the fruit soaks up a sweet, tangy taste that makes for a refreshing local treat.
These goodies were a welcome treat for the youth, young adults, and families participating in Hale Kipa’s programs, as well as our staff!
In addition to the fruit, Taylorisms donated an assortment of Zipped Buchas from local Hawaiʻi brand Buddah Muchi Kids Co. for distribution to youth in Hale Kipa’s programs.
Taylorisms is a small, family-run local business that began selling its products at farmers markets earlier this year. Rather than letting extra products remaining after a market go to waste, Taylorisms has chosen several nonprofit organizations to receive and share them with their communities.
We appreciate Taylorisms for thinking of Hale Kipa and finding a way to turn their extra products into something that can be enjoyed by others.
